Air Liquide India Kickstarts Safety Month Celebration

Safety is and shall always remain a strong and one of the most important pillars at Air Liquide India. For us, it is our license to operate. Following the same fundamentals, we at Air Liquide India, every year dedicate the month of March as a Safety Month and this year is no different.

During the month, all employees and business partners participate in their maximum strengths for various activities. Such activities strengthen the safety culture and inculcate ownership and responsibility. With the kickstart of safety month, employees in Air Liquide India pledged to stay safe. Safety walkarounds were conducted, quiz sessions were organized and safety cards were distributed at all Air Liquide India sites as well as the regional and head offices. 
 

Safety Pledge by Pune Site

The pledge to dedicate oneself to the cause of Safety, Health, and Protection of the Environment was undertaken by the Pune team. The event was attended by the plant operation & maintenance, distribution teams as well partners including drivers and other service providers.

 

 

Safety Card Distribution at Roorkee Site

Inclusivity and Diversity shall remain the focus for Air Liquide India in all our endeavors.
Safety Cards remind us of the achievements of the year 2022 along with the 12 Life Saving Rules followed by all at AL. It also shares a clear roadmap for 2023.

 

Fire Drill at Roorkee Site

A drill was conducted in the Air Liquide Roorkee site. Such drills are done regularly to check the proper functioning of the systems and to keep us ready for and during such emergencies. 
All fire fighting equipment are being calibrated and maintained as per Air Liquide global standards and as well as meet the statutory compliance norms established by regulatory agencies in India.  

 

Safety Card distribution at the Sales Office

Our sales team feels proud to discuss with our esteemed customers the various safety features aimed at improving the safety of the installation at customer sites. The Safety Card was distributed in the Vadodara regional office to emphasize our commitment to Safety. 

 

Safety Month at Rajpura

The brand new cylinder filling station in Rajpura which recently commenced operations is serving various customers in Punjab assuring the best product quality and highest supply reliability.
The safety month inauguration was organized by the Rajpura operations team. Safety Pledge was taken by all the employees at the site as in other sites

 

LSR Session at Rajpura Site

Air Liquide strongly emphasizes the 12 Life-saving Rules (LSR), which are mandatory requirements to follow to work in Air Liquide which ensures a safe working environment for all employees and partners.
These life-saving rules are essentially those that can save lives and several of these rules are mandated by law as well. For example, driving without seatbelts or not working under the influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited.

 

 

Safety Oath at Panipat

Panipat manufacturing facility which is the largest Air Separation Unit in North India. Safety becomes the priority in such critical applications. During phase - 2 of the pandemic, the Panipat plant emerged as the lifeline for medical oxygen across various states in North India. 
The safety pledge reminds us that accidents and diseases are a drain on the national economy and may lead to disablement, deaths, harm to health and damage to properties, social suffering, and general degradation of the environment.

 

Safety Quiz at Panipat Site

Like other facilities, a Safety quiz was organized at Panipat, where all employees participated enthusiastically.
Several programs have been planned during the safety month which includes the participation of employees and their families in submitting Safety Posters and Slogans and awareness sessions.

 

Safety Quiz at Nagpur Site

This is the first safety month celebration in the Nagpur site, and the team was excited about the kickstart ceremony.
In Nagpur also after the safety pledge the team participated in the safety quiz and now waiting for the results. During the month teams across various sites also plan to have knowledge-sharing online sessions focussed on various incidents and the RCA's recommendations for these incidents. 

 

Safety Oath at Jhagadia

Our team in the Jhagadia site also celebrated and participated enthusiastically in the safety month inauguration.
The team took an oath to do everything possible for the prevention of accidents and occupational diseases, and the prevention of the environment in the interest of the self, family, community, organization, and the nation at large.

The team also actively participated in the safety quiz. The winner of the quiz shall be announced during the safety month closing celebrations planned at each site where one of the Management team members shall join to motivate the respective teams.

Safety Oath at Dharuhera

The operations team kickstarted the safety month ceremony with a safety oath. Expected to be the largest cylinder filling capacity in North India, managing the supply chain to ensure safe and timely deliveries to all our esteemed customers is challenging but the team is agile and doing this efficiently over the years now.
